Suppose you are working on some folders and you have to shutdown Windows. Next time you would start Windows, the open folders windows (which were open at the time of shutdown) do not appear. If you want Windows to restore the previously open folder windows at the startup, then follow these easy steps :
- Open Windows Explorer.
- In the toolbar, click on Organize and select Folder and search options to open the Folder Options window.
- Select the View tab, scroll down the options list and check the checkbox Restore previous folder windows at logon. Click OK to save the settings.
- Restart your computer for the settings to take effect.
