If you use a program very often, then you would want to pin it on Start Menu. Windows XP has a a new start menu in which you can pin programs on the top-left. Here is how :
Note : This does not work in Classic Start Menu.
- Click Start Menu → All Programs and navigate to program of your choice.
- Right-click on the shortcut of any program you want to pin.
- From the right click menu, choose Pin to Start Menu
- You would immediately see its shortcut pinned on the top of Start Menu as shown :
If later you want to un-pin the program from the Start Menu, then you can right click on the pinned shortcut and choose Unpin from Start Menu as shown :
