Hide system clock in Windows Vista

Windows Vista shows the clock in the bottom-right of the computer screen. This clock displays the local system time. Some people think it as a waste of screen space, as they can also see the time on the wall clock or their wrist watch. If you want to hide this clock, follow these simple steps :

  1. Right click anywhere on the taskbar and select Properties from the menu

  2. In the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window, select the Notification Area tab.
  3. Un-check the checkbox labeled Clock as shown,

  4. Click OK button to save the settings.
