The quick launch is very useful as it carries shortcuts to most used programs. But by default, Windows XP does not show the quick launch in the taskbar. You can easily enable the quick launch to show in the taskbar in Windows XP. Here is how :
- Right-click anywhere on an empty area on the taskbar and select Properties from the right-click menu.
- In the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window, select the Taskbar tab if not pre-selected.
- Check the checkbox labeled Show Quick Launch as shown,
- Click the OK button to save the settings.
