Change the recycle bin size in Windows XP

Most people do not know that recycle bin takes up a lot of disk space to store the deleted files. If you are running out of hard disk space, then you may want to reduce the maximum size of the recycle bin. Here is how :

1. Right click on the Recycle Bin shortcut on the desktop and select Properties.

   

2. In the Properties window, you can scroll the scroller to left to reduce the size taken up by the Recycle Bin.

   

3. Click OK to save the changes.
