Fotosizer : Batch Resize Multiple Images

Pictures taken with digital cameras are often very large in size and dimensions. If you start to resize them one by one, then it can take many hours. But if you use the free Fotosizer software then all your photos can be resized in one go at the click of a button. Fotosizer is a free application for Windows that allows you to batch resize pictures, apply simple effects to them, rotate the pictures and more.

You can download Fotosizer from the Fotosizer website. It is available in two editions – standard edition and the professional edition. The standard edition lacks some features but is free to download and use. The program is designed using the Microsoft .NET 4.0, so you would need Microsoft .NET framework installed on your PC for it to work. After the installation, you can run it from its desktop shortcut.

You can add the pictures by dragging and dropping them onto the Fotosizer window. If you want to add a whole folder of pictures, then you can click on the Add Folder button at the bottom. There are options to remove a picture or remove all the pictures if you do not want them to be processed. After adding the pictures, you can set options for resizing in the right size panel.

In addition to the resize options, there are options to add basic effects (black & white, sepia and negative), rotate the pictures, flip them vertically or horizontally and save the EXIF data. In the destination options, you can choose where to save the output pictures after resizing the images.

After adding the pictures and changing the resizing options, you can click on the Start button (green colored play button) to start the resizing operation. You would be shown a progress window that displays all the progress for each picture. In the end, you can open the destination folder, save the progress results in form of a CSV file or close the progress dialog.
