First of all you have to download Juicebox Lite from their website and install it on your system. Juicebox Lite edition is free for use while other editions are paid commercial versions. The application is designed using Adobe Air, so it can be installed on Windows or Mac without any problem. But you would need Adobe Air to be installed on your system beforehand. After the Juicebox is installed, you can launch it from its desktop shortcut. To start a new gallery, click on the New Gallery button.
In the next step, you have to add images for the gallery. The images can be downloaded from your flickr account directly, or you can use images from your local hard disk. If you are using local images, then you can click on the Browse button to select them or you can drag-n-drop them on to the Juicebox window. You can also select if you want to resize large images to a maximum size limit or crop them to fit.
Next, you have to click on the Customize link on the top to select the options for the gallery. Here you can choose gallery title, width, height, background color, opacity and more. A live preview of the gallery is shown on the right side so any changes you make for the gallery options are displayed instantly.
Now you can click on the Publish link near the top edge of the Juicebox window. This would show you options for saving the created picture gallery. You can choose a folder where the gallery would be saved. An embed code is also shown, if you plan to embed the gallery inside another webpage.
Juicebox Lite is good enough for basic picture galleries. But it has a limit of adding only a maximum of fifty pictures in the Lite editon. If you want many more features and the ability to add unlimited number of pictures per gallery, then you can buy the Juicebox Pro edition.
