Using the reset option in Chrome, you can reset the Chrome browser settings back to their original default values. Here is how :

  1. Click on the customize icon in the Chrome toolbar on the right side and select Settings from the popup menu. As an alternative, you can also type chrome://settings in the location bar and press Enter.

It would reset your homepage, new tab page and search engine, disable your extensions and unpin all tabs. It will also clear other temporary and cached data, such as cookies, content and site data. In short, it will turn your Chrome browser back to its virgin settings as if you have just installed it.
