Play Doom Once Again in Windows with GZDoom Port

If you do not know about the legendary game Doom, then perhaps you do not play games that much on your PC. Doom was the first revolutionary 3D shooting game in the gaming industry. Before Doom almost all of the games were 2D games and most of them were the side-scrolling style games (like the Tyrian Wars or Street Fighter). The first version of Doom was released in the year 1993 and was soon followed by Doom version 2 in 1994 and then The Ultimate Doom in 1995. But even after so many years, there are so many people who love to play this engaging game from time to time.

If you want to play the Doom game on your Windows 10 PC, then you cannot use the original Doom program files from 1993 as they will perhaps not run properly. You will have to use an open-source Doom client like GZDoom that offers so many more features and supports new hardware. For example GZDoom supports OpenGL 2.0 and above versions making the most out of your new graphics cards. Because of this, it offers features like 3D floors, dynamic lights, Quake 2 or Unreal Tournament style sky boxes,  true color depth textures, and model support.
