Download MP3 from Youtube Videos with Youtube-To-MP3 Add-on in Firefox

Sometimes you stumble upon a really nice video on Youtube and you want to extract and download MP3 audio from it. Usually, you would download the Youtube video and then use a tool like FFMPEG to extract audio from it. But why go through this long tedious way when you can directly download the MP3 audio from any Youtube video? Using a Firefox add-on Youtube-to-MP3, you can quickly download the MP3 audio from any Youtube video. Here is how :

1. Visit https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/youtube-to-mp3/ in your Firefox browser.
2. Click on the green colored button labeled Add to Firefox.
   
3. Click on the Install Now button in the Software Installation window that pops up. You will have to restart the Firefox browser in order to activate this add-on.
   
4. After restarting the Firefox browser, you are ready to download the MP3 audio from any Youtube video. Just open any Youtube video page and then click on any of the two buttons shown above the video. You can click on video2mp3: Convert Now for ordinary MP3, or you can click on video2mp3: Convert Now (HQ) for high-quality MP3.
   
5. Soon, a new window would open up where you can see the video to MP3 conversion progress. At the end of conversion, you would be shown a download link for the MP3 audio extracted from your Youtube video.
   

If you are not a Firefox user, do not worry. The Youtube-to-MP3 add-on is also available fro Google Chrome and Apple Safari web browsers as well.
