Download Youtube Videos in Opera with FastestTube Add-on
If you are an Opera browser user and you want to download a youtube video then earlier you had no option but to switch to Firefox or Chrome. But after Opera has become the latest browser to start supporting browser extensions, you have many options inside Opera itself. If you want to download youtube videos inside Opera, then you can install the FastestTube add-on in Opera and start downloading videos right away. Here is how :
- Open Opera browser and navigate to https://addons.opera.com/en/addons/extensions/details/fastesttube-youtube-video-downloader/. Click on the Install button to start the installation.

- You would see a popup confirmation window asking you whether you want to install this add-on. This confirmation is required to prevent attack sites automatically install malicious extensions. Click on the Install button to complete the installation.

- Now that you have installed the FastestTube add-on, you can visit any youtube video page and you would see a Download button under the video (near the thumbs up like buttons). Click on it and choose a quality of video you want to download. Typically you are shown 360p, 480p, 720p and 1020p dimensions. The high-definition formats are suffixed with (HD) as shown.

- After you choose a video quality from the drop-down list, you would be shown the usual Opera file download box. Click on the Save button to save the video to somewhere on your hard disk.

If you are an Opera user and want to download some of the youtube videos for offline viewing, then FastestTube add-on can help you out. While it is a nice thing to download and store some of the youtube videos on your hard disk, you should also be careful not to infringe any copyrights of the youtube vidoes as youtube prohibits downloading some of the videos.
