Uninstall an extension from Google Chrome

Google Chrome offers hundreds of extensions you can install from https://chrome.google.com/extensions/list/popular. But after you are done testing a new extension and deciding that you do not like it, you would like to uninstall it. This article shows you how.

  1. Start Google Chrome browser.
  2. Click on the small wrench icon on the top-right to pull down menu and then select Extensions
  3. You would see a list of extensions installed in your Chrome browser. Click on the Uninstall link in front of the extension you want to uninstall as shown.
  4. Confirm for the uninstalling the extension and finalize the uninstallation.
