Add gadgets to sidebar in Windows 7

Windows 7 has a Windows Sidebar which has various gadgets inside it. By default, Windows 7 has no gadgets pre-added. You have to add the gadgets that you want. If you want to add gadgets to the Windows Sidebar then you can follow the steps given in this article.

1. Right click anywhere in an empty space (where there is no icon) on the Windows Desktop and select Gadgets
   
   Alternatively, you can also right-click on any gadget in the Windows Sidebar and select Add Gadgets,
   
2. You would see a Desktop Gadget Gallery which shows a number of gadgets to choose from
   
3. Double click on a gadget to add it to the sidebar. The selected gadget would immediately appear in the Windows Sidebar where you can change its settings.
