Use single click to open an item in Windows Vista
Normally, when you want to open a file or program, you double-click on its icon or shortcut in Windows. But some people do not like double clicking. If you also do not like the double clicking, you can change Windows Vista settings to use single-click to open a file or program. Here is how :
- Open any folder.
- Select Organize → Folder and Search options as shown below :
- In the Folder Options window, select the General tab.
- Select the radio button labeled Single click to open an item (point to select) as shown,
- Click OK to save the settings.
