Disable Welcome screen in Windows XP
When Windows starts the first thing you see is the welcome screen, which gives you option to logon into Windows. You can disable this welcome screen and choose to have classic logon dialog as shown below :
- Open Control Panel → User Accounts
- Click on Change the way users log on and off.
- In the next screen, un-check the checkbox for Use the Welcome Screen and click Apply as shown :
