Display hidden files and folders in Windows XP

By default Windows XP settings prevent a user to view hidden files and folder. You can change settings to view such folders.

  1. Open Folder options from Control Panel → Folder Options. In the opening dialog, choose View tab. It would look like the image shown below :
  2. Select Show hidden files and folders and click on OK to save the changes.
