When I was a teenager, every time I watched a Spiderman or a Batman movie, I felt like a superhero myself. I started to think how I would resolve all the mysteries and use my super-powers to crack down on the crime in my city. I had big posters of the Hulk and the Supergirl on the walls of my room. All kids have this imagination and fantasy to be a superhero, and now you can be one through the Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit – a game available for free on Steam.

The game lets you experience the childhood of the young Chris, a nine year old boy who dreams of being a superhero. In the role of the young Chris you gain a glimpse into it and see how, as his alter ego Captain Spirit, escapes his sad reality with fantastic adventures and daydreams. Through him, you can also finally satisfy your long time desire of being a superhero.

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit

This game uses the characters and the locations from the Life is Strange. Now that a new installment of the series is going to be released in the month of September this year. But since it is going to be many months until then, the developers have released a small free-to-play game “The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit” in the interim to keep the players interested.

Even though listed as demo, this game is free-to-play and acts as a link between Life is Strange 1 and Life is Strange 2. It introduces some of the decisions and actions from this game will be linked directly to the upcoming installment of the Life is Strange 2. If you have never played any of the games in the series, then it will give you an opportunity to get inside the story line.
