Windows automatically installs latest hotfixes and updates. This is a very good thing but sometimes an update can behave erratically and cause problems in the normal working of Windows. Then it is better to uninstall that update. Here is how you can uninstall updates in Windows 7 :
- Open Control Panel → Programs. Then click on the View installed updates as shown :
- You would see a list of all the installed Windows updates as shown :
- Select the update you want to uninstall and click on Uninstall button in the taskbar above the list as shown :
- You will see a confirmation dialog box popup. Choose Yes to proceed.
