YouTube is perhaps the most popular web site of the world accessed by millions of people every day. If you are also a YouTube fan and enjoy watching videos on YouTube, then you may be interested in knowiing how you can control YouTube videos with your keyboard – whether a regular keyboard or a multimedia keyboard.

The following is a table showing various keyboard shortcuts you can use when watching a YouTube video :

| Up/Down arrow on the seek bar | Increase/Decrease volume 5% |
| Numbers 1 to 9 (not on the numeric pad) on the seek bar | Seek to the 10% to 90% of the video |
| Number 0 (not on the numeric pad) on the seek bar | Seek to the beginning of the video |
If you have multimedia keyboard with keys to play, pause, stop and next keys, then you can also use them as you would normally use them in a multimedia player like Winamp or Windows Media Player.
