I have seen many times that people use Microsoft System Configuration Utility (msconfig) to boot into the safe mode and then they have no idea how to get out of it and boot back into the normal mode of Windows. When you select the Safe boot in the Microsoft System Configuration Utility and reboot, Windows is set to boot into the safe mode and keeps booting into safe mode. But you can change the settings in the Windows using the same MSConfig utility. Here is how :
- Click on the Start Menu button (the blue orb in the bottom-left of your screen) and type msconfig. When you see msconfig.exe appear, right-click on it and choose Run as administrator as shown.
- In the Microsoft System Configuration Utility un-check the checkbox labeled Safe boot. Also check the checkbox labeled Make all the boot settings permanent as shown.
- Finally click on the OK button to save the settings. Now you can reboot and the Windows should boot into the normal mode.
