Although not so authentic, Wikipedia is a great source of all kinds of information. You can find articles on almost any kind of topic on Wikipedia. If the information does not exist on Wikipedia, then you can start a new article for it and contribute your knowledge about it. Sometimes when we find an article on Wikipedia, we want to print it or download it for offline use. Fortunately, Wikipedia allows you to download any article in the printable PDF format. Here is how you can download Wikipedia articles in the PDF format:
- Visit Wikipedia website and search for a topic. Click on one of the article links to open that article in the web browser.
- When the article has been opened, scroll down the webpage a little and click on Print/Export to expand that section. Then click on Download as PDF as shown,
- This would start the process of rendering the current article in form of the PDF format. If the article is longer and contains many media objects (like pictures), then it would take a little longer to render the PDF file. In the end, it would show the Download the file link, clicking on which you can download the PDF file to your computer.
The downloaded PDF file is correctly formatted for printing on your printer. It does not contain any Wikipedia menus or links. It has neatly formatted pages and uses the Times New Roman font for all the text. All the images are aligned to the left or right and go very well with the flow of text.
