Epic Games store is giving away “Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons” game this week. This game has been created by an acclaimed Swedish movie director Josef Fares. As such the game has a feel of a really good movie story. In this game you have only single player mode but you control two brothers who are going on a journey they will never forget.
The story behind this game is similar to many adventure movies or games where the protagonist gets the responsibility of completing a task that is too big for him/her but must be completed in order to save everyone. We can remember Lord of the Rings movie series where Frodo is assigned the enormous task of taking the golden ring that he has inherited and destroying it.
Similarly, in the “Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons” game two brothers set out on an adventure of their lifetime. Their father is ailing with a sickness that can be cured only with the water from the Tree of Life. This special curing water is found very far away.
The two brothers embark on the long journey knowing that it is going to be very hard. In the way they face a number of challenges, threats and deceitful people. For example, they meet a little innocent girl who turns out to be a deceitful person and tries to stab the little brother. They have to fight some dangerous creatures too.
The game was first released in 2013 and should work fine on any modern PC. It has very moderate system requirements like 2GB RAM and DirectX 9. It can even run on older Windows XP systems.
