After a marathon of non-stop game giveaways during the holidays, Epic Games store is continuing to give away more games as the new year welcomes us. This week they are giving away first person, action, adventure game called “Dishonored – Definitive Edition”.
The giveaway includes the original Dishonored game as well as all the additional content including Dunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall, The Brigmore Witches and Void Walker’s Arsenal.
In Dishonored, you play the character of an assassin who carries supernatural powers. You are driven with a bit of revenge too because you were wrongfully accused for the assassination of the Empress and kidnapping of the heiress. You escape the prison and choose the path of your revenge.
For each of the targets, you have to employ a different strategy as all of these targets are different and have different powers. You have to use a combination of your supernatural powers, your weapons and other unusual gadgets to achieve your goals.
The game was originally released in 2012 and received positive reviews. As expected the game was and is often compared with another popular game Thief. There are many similarities in this game and the Thief when it comes to the characters and the medieval world. The stealth component in both games also makes you think of the similarities between the two.
System requirements for are pretty moderate. It can be run on any Windows PC running with a dual-core processor with 3 GHz clock frequency, 4 GB of RAM and a low end DirectX 9 compatible graphics card.
