Metalith : View and Edit Metadata in Image Files

Most of the digital cameras and the cameras included with smartphones save some or other sort of the metadata information in the saved image files. This metadata information can be of many different formats such as EXIF, IPTC, XMP an TIFF. This metadata can contain important information for the captured image data such as the make and model of the camera, the focal length of the lens uses, the geo-location coordinates where the image was taken, the orientation in which the camera was held and more.

We can view this metadata information embedded inside the digital images using any image viewers like IrfanView, XnView and ACDSee Image Viewer. But if you want to edit this metadata manually, then you can use a software called Metalith. It is a powerful metadata editor that is available completely free without any restrictions.
The main advantage of the software is the ability to edit any number of files at the same time. Metalith supports various metadata standards as well as various file formats.
