It is a chaotic game in which you have to fight against a large hordes of monsters. But it is not brainless action game, it forces you to make very important decisions, such as, whether you should give up on your humanity and adopt the same characteristics as those demons that you are fighting with so that you can acquire the same level of powers. Depending on your decisions that you make throughout the game, the storyline changes and gives you a new outcome.
Game starts much like The Wizard of Oz, when a young lady named Eshe falls deep down into the ground after a sandstorm. She finds herself in a mysterious world of Eschaton and Valkyries who are at war with each other. She explores different caves and gains magical powers to defend herself.
While the side-scrolling game offers very easy to use controls it still manages to challenge the gamers. This is because of always changing maps and multiple levels of difficulties arising from the decisions the gamers make. And if you want to have fun with your friends, then it allows up to four players in a local co-op mode.
