Google search engine has brought a new feature called Instant Search. This allows you to search as you type — the search results appear for the search terms as you type without pressing the Enter key. If you want to turn instant search off in Google, then you can follow these instructions :
- Open Google web page.
- Click on the Search Settings on the top-right as shown,
- Scroll down on the Search settings page and select Do not use Google instant as shown,
- Click on the Save Preferences button to save the settings.
Note the settings are saved in form of cookies in your browser. This means if you clear browser cache then you also lose the settings. Also you have to save the settings in each browser separately, if you use many web browsers.
