Internet Explorer supports zooming in and zooming out on any webpage. Typically, you can press the shortcut keys Ctrl + and Ctrl — to zoom in and zoom out respectively. By default the zooming settings apply to all the new tabs and windows that you would open after applying zoom settings. But if you only want to zoom a single web site and not any other site that you would open later, then this is going to be a problem. Fortunately, you can enable resetting of zoom level back to 100% for all the new windows and tabs in Internet Explorer. This way all the new sites you would open, will be opened with the normal zoom level of 100%. This is how :
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Click on the gear like icon on the top-right of Internet Explorer window and select Internet Options from the drop-down list.
- In the Internet Options windows, select the Advanced tab.
- Under the Accessibility category, check the checkbox labeled Reset zoom level for new windows and tabs.
- Click OK to save the settings.
Now no matter what zoom level you set for a web site opened in Internet Explorer, the new tabs and windows shall be opened in 100% zoom level. This should save you from the headache of setting zoom back to 100% over and over again.
