The IMDB (Internet Movie DataBase) web site is the largest website about movies, actors and all the related information. You can find all the information about movies and discuss your opinion with others on IMDB. When you visit IMDB, it stores the web pages of which movies, artists etc. you have viewed. At the bottom of almost every IMDb page, you will see a list of pictures under the heading – Recently Viewed. This feature keeps track of the people, movies and TV shows that you look up on IMDb. You can see fourteen items at a time at the bottom of the page. If you share your computer with others, then anyone can easily find what you have been looking for on IMDB. But if you want, then you can clear your viewing history on IMDB. Here is how :
- Visit the IMDB web site at http://www.imdb.com/ in your web browser.
- Scroll down to the very bottom of the webpage. You would find the most recent webpage you have viewed so far listed in form of a gallery. You would find a Manage your history on the right side as shown.
- When you click on the Manage your history link, it opens a new webpage with all the IMDB viewing history. You can hover your mouse on a thumbnail and click on the red cross that pops-up to remove that item from your viewing history.
- On the top-right corner, you would see a link Clear entire history. If you want to clear all of your IMDB history, then just click on this link and all of your history would be removed.
As you visit pages for people, movies and TV shows on IMDb, it adds those people, movies and TV shows to your Recently Viewed footer. Your recently viewed history is stored using cookies in your browser locally. So it will not follow you as you move from your home to work computer or from your computer to your mobile device.
