AllMyApps is actually designed to work both in Windows and Linux. It can be downloaded and installed in Windows. After the installation it places an icon in your system tray and continues to monitor for latest updates of its software database. You can double-click on the system tray icon to open its main window from where you can search through diferent categories of applications. There are various categories and sub-categoris like browsers, web, entertainment, security, office, video, games etc. You can also sort the apps by staff picks, hot apps, new apps and PC essentials. Both the commercial and free software are listed in the window.

If you want to download and install an app, then hover your cursor over it and click on the Download button that appears. The app would start to be downloaded. You can view the progress under my apps section of AllMyApps window. After the download is finished, the app would be automatically installed.

Under the my apps section, you can also view some of the softwares already installed on your system and if they are the latest updated versions. AllMyApps gives you options to launch the installed programs (in case you forget what the program was about), update it or uninstall it. Some of the installed program can be automatically updated just by clicking on the Update button, while others have to be manually downloaded and installed.

AllMyApps does not have much of settings to configure. You can open its settings from a link on the top-right corner of its window. In the settings, you can select for it to be automatically run at Windows startup. You can also manage how often the app update and app recommendation notifications are displayed on your system. By default, it shows daily notification for updating your already installed apps.
