Microsoft has finally released the most awaited version of Internet Explorer, Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7. But some people have found it not as smooth in performance as the one that comes with Windows 8, albeit the fact that both are same versions. If you found the Internet Explorer 10 performance unsatisfactory in Windows 7 then you can remove it for now. You can follow the simple instructions given below to remove Internet Explorer 10 from Windows 7 :
- Click on the Start button on the lower-left corner of your screen. Type Installed Hotfixes in the search box of Start Menu. Then click on View Installed Updates in the search results list.
- In the Installed Updates window, you would see all sorts of hotfixes and patches installed for various Microsoft products including Windows and Internet Explorer. Select Windows Internet Explorer 10 from under the Microsoft Windows section in the list and then click on the Uninstall button.
- You would be asked for confirmation. After you confirm yes, Windows would start to remove Internet Explorer 10. The removeal process may take a long time. At the end, you would be asked to restart Windows. After you have restarted Windows, you would find the older version (Internet Explorer 9) ready to be used again.
