Mozilla Firefox web browser keeps updating itself as soon as a new stable version is released. This is a very good feature of Firefox as you do not have to manually update the web browser. Having an always up-to-date web browser is one of the essential steps towards online security. If you want to see how many times your Firefox web browser has been updated after the installation, then Firefox provides an easy option for that too. Here is how you can view the update history in Mozilla Firefox:
- Open Mozilla Firefox web browser. Click on the orange Firefox button on the top-left corner and select Options → Options from the menu as shown in the picture below:
- In the Options window, select Advanced section and then the Update tab. Here you will find many settings related to the Firefox update feature. Click on the Show Update History button.
- This would open a tiny window with a list of all the updates that have been installed for your Firefox browser. The updates list shows the type of update, the installation date and status for the each update. You would notice that most of the updates are security updates.
You can click on the details link against each update in the list to open a webpage which shows details about that update including the new features, modified features and fixed security vulnerabilities in that update.
