Font Clock 7 : Digital Desktop Clock for Windows

Although Windows comes with a tiny system tray clock of its own, it is so small that you have to squint your eyes in order to find out the current time. Perhaps this is why the mobile operating systems like Android and iOS show large font clocks on their screens – to make it easy to check the current time. If you are not happy with the Windows notification area clock, or do not like looking for your glasses so that you can read the time in Windows small fonts, then you can use the free Font Clock 7 software.

The Font Clock 7 is a small and simple software that can place a digital clock on the desktop screen of your Windows PC. It is customizable and lets you choose the font face, font size, and the font color for the digital clock on the desktop.

After you install Font Clock 7, it will place an icon in the system tray through which you can control and optimize this digital clock. The digital clock itself would be shown on the top-right corner of your desktop by default. You can drag it around on the screen using your mouse cursor (or using your finger if you have a touch enabled screen).

From the system tray menu for the Font Clock 7, you can choose the font settings (font face, color and size) as well as revert its position back to the default top-right corner. In the options, you can choose to run Font Clock 7 automatically at Windows logon, drop a shadow on the time and  keep it always on top of other windows.

Conclusion: Although Font Clock 7 is not as beautiful as the Eusing Clock that we have reviewed earlier, it is certainly better than the default clock that comes with Windows operating system. If you have weak sight, then you can use Font Clock 7 with large font and easily know the time even from a distance.
