Although Windows 10 works really great out of the box, it should to be customized for each individual’s needs. There are simply too many settings to mention that users can customize to personalize their experience of Windows 10, but the mouse cursor is one of them. Just like the earlier versions of Windows, the new Windows 10 also allows you to customize the size and color of the mouse pointer (historically called the mouse cursor). Actually Windows 10 makes it very easy to configure the mouse pointer size and color than any of the older versions of Windows.
Here is how you can choose the mouse pointer size and color in your Windows PC:
- Press the hotkey Win+I to open the Settings app. You can also click on the Start and then select Settings from the menu to open the Settings app.
- In the Settings app, select the Ease of Access category.
- On the Ease of Access screen, select Mouse from the left-side menu.
- On the screen that shows up next, you can choose the mouse cursor size as well as the color. There are three sizes to choose from – small, medium and large. Similarly, there are three color schemes that you can select – white, black and inverted color.
By default Windows 10 uses a white colored mouse pointer of the small size. If you do not find it comfortable to use this small white pointer, then you can choose larger size mouse pointers and of darker or inverted colors.
