When you buy a new PC, it comes packed with all kinds of software and device drivers that you won’t ever use or need. If you have a AMD based PC that has all the AMD software installed that you want to remove and install the minimal set of drivers of the newer versions, then you can make use of the AMD Clean Uninstall utility. The AMD Clean Uninstall utility does its best to remove any previously installed AMD display and audio drivers, and cleans up left-over files and registry entries from the system. This prepares your system ready for the installation of latest drivers without any problems or errors.
The AMD Clean Uninstall utility works only on Windows 7, 8.x, and 10. It supports both the 32-bit and 64-bit architectures for Windows. You begin by downloading and launching the AMDCleanupUtility.exe on your system. This shows some information, you have to click on OK to continue.
