What many people perhaps do not know that WinRAR also supports themes – a set of icons that can replace the default icons in the WinRAR toolbar. If you want to install themes in WinRAR, then you can use these steps:
- First of all you have to download the WinRAR themes. You can download the officially supported themes from the WinRAR web site at http://www.rarlabs.com/themes.htm. But you can also find many more themes from the sites like deviantart (make sure you scan the downloaded files with a good antivirus software before using them).
- After downloading the theme files, all you have to do is double-click on any of the downloaded theme file. You will be asked whether you want to install the theme in WinRAR. You have to click on the Yes button.
- After the installation is done, WinRAR will close down. You have to start WinRAR once again. Then select Options → Themes from the menubar and choose one of themes from the list that you have installed.
- If you want to delete the installed themes later on, then you can select Options → Themes → Configure Themes from the menubar and it will open up a small themes manager window from where you can select, add or delete the themes.
