These days VPN services have become so commonplace that even some web browsers come with this feature built inside them (for example, Opera web browser for desktop computers). And if you are on an Android device, then you have even many more options to choose from. Just search Google Play store for VPN and you are presented with hundreds of apps that can do the VPN tunneling for you. Some of these apps belong to the industry leaders like Opera, Hotspot Shield, TunnelBear, Psiphon, Cyberghost etc., but others somewhat unknown apps can also provide a good VPN service.
One of the newer apps called FlashVPN is one of such VPN tunneling apps for Android. True to its name, it can connect to the fastest available VPN servers in just one tap. As you launch the app after installation, it shows one button Continue or Connect and tapping on it will tunnel your entire device through one of the VPN servers. It has VPN servers in five countries (at the time of writing this post) – Germany, France, England, Singapore and United States.
Just like many other VPN services, it tries to connect to the closest and fastest available VPN server based on your location. But you can always switch to a server located in a particular country by pulling down the location menu. But choosing a VPN server manually might make the connection slower or unreliable as not all VPN servers perform so well in your location.
All in all, FlashVPN is a nice little app to have in your Android smartphone in order to use VPN when your internet is not working properly or when you want to access some websites that are not available in your part of the world.
