Flick Launcher Brings Android P Elements to Older Smartphones

Flick Launcher is a new sensation that is making waves in the Android world. It is a new open-source launcher for the Android smartphones that packs together so many features that you would need at least an hour to go through all of them. It brings some of the features that are offered by leaders like Nova launcher and Microsoft Launcher for Android along with some of the elements from the Android Oreo and Android P. Even though Flick Launcher is in the pre-release stage, you can still install it from Google Play store. For installing it, you must be running Android 5.0 and later versions. It even supports the latest Android Oreo.

As soon as you install it, you can see the difference in your smartphone. It takes you through a number of steps to set it up properly – changing the wallpaper, accessing the notifications, changing the color scheme of your liking using a combination of your favorite colors etc. After this, you have to set it as your default launcher and you are all set to enjoy the modern and feature loaded launcher.

From the large number of options that Flick Launcher offers, you can change the options for layout, the appearance of icons and folders, font and color, gesture control, shortcuts and other options. A dark mode is also integrated, which then makes bright buttons appear in a darker tone. If you would like to catch a glimpse of the upcoming Android P, you can choose to display the search bar or even the entire app dock in Android P design.
