SaferPass is a new free password manager that works in multiple web browsers and for many popular operating systems. It provides features like password generator, breach report, auto-filling the credentials on websites and two factor authentication. It can be used without creating a SaferPass account in your local web browser, but if you want to sync your saved passwords across a number of the platforms then you will need to register for a free SaferPass account.
Once installed in your smartphone, desktop computer or web browser, you can click on its icon to enter the credentials of various popular websites such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, eBay, Amazon, PayPal etc. If you don’t find your favorite website in this list, then you can add a custom account too.
It comes with a convenient password generator using which you can create very strong passwords on-the-fly . In the password manager, you can change the length of the password and the character set included for the password such as lower case, upper case, number and special characters.
SaferPass has a very nice feature called “Secure Me”. Using this feature, you can log out of all the services in your web browser at once. This is useful when you lend your computer or tablet to your friends or co-workers only to realize a moment later that you forgot to logout of your social networks like Twitter. Using “Secure Me”, you can instantly log out of all these accounts remotely from any of your devices.
If you are using SaferPass then you won’t have to remember any of your passwords since they are all stored securely in your SaferPass account. As soon as you visit a website, it can fill in the login credentials automatically which saves a considerable amount of time. It uses AES 256 algorithm to encrypt your data so that it is stored with compete safety.
