How to Set Account Notifications in the Twitter App

Twitter has become one of the primary ways that people interact with each other these days. People can quickly tweet public messages, they can direct message to each other which is kept private between the two users and of course, you can follow all of your favorite celebrities on Twitter.

When you are waiting for your friends to tweet a response to your earlier tweet or to go live on on the internet, you do not have to wait for them while staring at your smartphone’s screen. You can use the account notification feature of the Twitter app which notifies you whenever your friends post a new tweet or they go live for online broadcast. These settings are to be enabled for each account you want to receive notifications from. These notifications appear either on the lock screen or in the notifications bar.

Here is how you can enable account notifications in the Twitter app:

  1. Launch Twitter app in your smartphone and look for the person whom you want to receive notifications from. You must be following that person for the account notification options to become visible.
