If you have lost any of your mobile devices then the first thing you have to worry about is that people who find your phone could be using your Spotify premium account to listen to all sorts of music. This is so unfair that you paid for the account and some stranger is going to enjoy the music through your Spotify account. Fortunately, it is very easy to remotely log out from your Spotify account on all the mobile devices.
Here is how you can quickly log out of your Spotify account from all of your devices :
- Visit Spotify https://www.spotify.com/ in your desktop web browser on your PC or Mac.
- Log in to your Spotify account using your Google, Facebook or Email address. In the case you have already lost your mobile phone, you won’t be able to log in using your phone number.
- Click on the Profile menu and choose Account from the menu. Alternatively, you can also visit https://www.spotify.com/account/overview/ in your web browser.
- Scroll down to the very bottom of the “account overview” section and then click on the Sign out Everywhere button. This will log you out from your Spotify account from wherever it is open such as mobile phones, web app, desktop apps and more.
This method works best if you use a desktop web browser from your Mac, Windows or Linux PC. But it can also work from your mobile browser on a mobile device if you view the website in the desktop mode. It is the best way to ensure that you have logged out from all the other devices that you ever signed in using your Spotify account. One extra step you may take after this is change the login password so that nobody can use the browser saved password to re-login back into your Spotify account.
