When you upgrade your Firefox web browser to the version 94, you will be greeted with a message about a new set of themes called “Colorways”. According to this message, these Colorways themes are available only for a limited time. You can click on the Explore Colorways to make it show all the various themes available for you. It will then display a color picking tool from where you can pick the colors for your theme.
You can pick a color scheme of group of six color schemes – black & white, yellow, red, green, pink, purple, black. Each of the color scheme can have three editions – soft, balanced and bold. Depending on the color palette that you choose, it will apply a different theme for you. You can also choose to apply the new theme to the Firefox Home. You can apply Save colorway button to apply the selected theme.
But this is not the only way to apply these themes. They can also be found from under the usual Themes options in Firefox. In order to access these Colorways themes, you can click on the Firefox menu, and then select Add-ons and Themes from the menubar.
When the Themes section is displayed, you have to scroll down and find the “Colorways” set of themes. You will find eighteen different themes with different colors and each color with three different gradients. You can choose and apply any of these themes just like you would any other theme.
As soon as you apply these themes, you can experience them in your Firefox web browser. Of course, you must update your Firefox web browser to version 94 (at least) before you can enjoy the Colorways themes for Firefox. There seems to be no logic behind why Mozilla is making these themes available only for a short time. But we can always save the theme files for later use.
