Epic Games store is giving away a city simulation game called “Cities: Skylines”. In this game, you have to build and manage a thriving city. You play the mayor of this city and you have the responsibility to run the city in peace and harmony. This is just one of the games from the Cities in Motion series of games and it focuses on modern day transportation. In this game, the player can develop a train terminals, airports and bus stations using all the latest technologies in order to provide an effective transportation for the city dwellers.
Even though the base game itself is so much fun and we can spend hours exploring all the tools at our disposal or addressing the various problems that appear in front of the city mayor, we can add more content using add-ons. There are add-ons for adding FM radio stations to the city, sports events, night life events, concerts, railway networks, airports, natural disasters, a number of new vehicles, fishing ports and more. How you develop your city and how successful it becomes is only limited by your own imagination.
The game was first released in 2015 and can be run on any version of Windows starting from Windows XP to Windows 10. The game runs very well with just 4GB of RAM, an average graphics card and a basic Intel Core 2 Duo processor. For finer graphics and better FPS, you have to use a DirectX 11 compatible graphics card but it also runs on DirectX 9 on older versions of Windows.
