GOG is giving away another giveaway this week. This time is it an adventure, science-fiction game called “Beautiful Desolation”. In this game, you explore a post-apocalyptic futuristic world. You are going to play Mark a man who is searching for his long lost brother everywhere.
During your search you are going to make many friends and even more enemies. Depending on who is your friend and who is your enemy, your life could be easy or hard in this game. Everywhere you look, you see the echoes of a desolate and sad past. Your actions are going to shape the future of this world and therefore you have to take the steps not only for the survival of yourself but for the many generations to come after you are long gone.
The game is played with an isometric third-person view. You are going to meet many bizarre characters who are both violent and unique. You might have to engage in battles with nanites, robots and huge spiders. You will come across many puzzles which you must solve to go to the next levels. Solving puzzles is not always easy but if you keep trying then you are going to crack the puzzles easily.
There is a very minimum hardware requirement for plating this game. All we need is a PC running Windows 7 or higher, a basic Intel Core i3 CPU, just 4GB of RAM, DirectX 11 compatible card and DirectX11 installed on your PC. Basically any Windows desktop or laptop bought in the last 8 years will be able to run this game fairly easily.
