The very first thing that we all like to do with our brand new Windows PC is to customize it and change its settings in order to personalize it. Even though we can do all this manually, but the manual method is going to be very slow and painful because you have to open a number of settings, registry, policies and more. Instead, you can quickly customize and tweak your Windows PC using a free software called SophiApp.
SophiApp is a very easy to use Windows application that comes with modern Windows UI. It allows us to modify Windows settings and speed up its operation. It is compatible with both Windows 10 and Windows 11. It is available in a portable version and does not require installation on the disk. We can download it from its GitHub page link of which is provided near the end.
The user interface of the program is very easy-to-follow. We can find all the features divided into various categories – Privacy, Personalization, System, UWP Apps, Games, Schedules Tasks, Security, Context Menu and Settings. Under each of the categories, we are going to find the respective settings. We can switch between the dark or light modes to change its basic appearance.
There are too many settings to mention them all. Using the SophiApp we can configure user data privacy and telemetry, turn off scheduled task tracking diagnostics and completely remove the OneDrive software. We can remove all the modern apps (UWP apps) that come pre-installed on Windows 10 or Windows 11. We can also install the support for the new HEVC video files. We can also use this single app to clean the system off junk and unnecessary files, files left behind by various system updates, temporary files and more.
SophiApp is free and provides all the most wanted customization and tweaking options. This app works for both Windows 10 and Windows 11, however not all versions are supported. When run on an unsupported version, the app refuses to run.
