Vovsoft Batch Image Converter is a small Windows application for conversion of image file formats. It supports conversion between various image file formats such as JPEG, JPG, PNG, TIFF, BMP, GIF, WebP etc. It is available both in form of a setup installer package and in form of a portable application. It works out of the box and can be used on any Windows version starting from Windows XP to Windows 10. It is safe to use and it creates very high quality image files.
The user interface of the Batch Image Converter is a tabbed user interface. There are two tabs – one tab is dedicated for adding the image files to the list. We can add image files by clicking on the buttons such as “Add Files” or “Add Folder”. The latter button is used to add all the image files from a folder to the list. After adding the image files to the list, we can click on the “Next” button to move to the next step.
As we click “Next” we are taken to the second tab which shows various conversion options. We can choose the target image file format from the drop down list. There are eight different file formats supported – PNG, WebP, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, GIF, ICO and, WMP. Depending on the image file format selected, we get some options related to conversion. There is an option for converting the colored images to grayscale if the user wants grayscale images.
After selecting the destination folder we can click on the “Process” button. It takes very short time to process all the images and convert them into the desired image file formats. When the conversion process is completed, a notification message is displayed saying that the conversion has been completed.
