There are many app launchers available for the Windows operating system, but Quick Go stands out with its unique user interface. Quick Go is a small but smart shortcuts management tool for Windows. It allows the users to drag-n-drop the shortcuts on its window in order to add them to its various lists.
After the installation when we launch Quick Go from its desktop shortcut, it simply places a cross-hair window on your screen. We can drag this yellow colored cross-hair window anywhere on the screen. When we click on this window, it shows a menu from where we can select various options such as “Manage Lists”, “Add Website”, etc. Since websites cannot be dropped on its window, it features “Add Website” function.
We can also change the transparency of this cross-hair window from low, medium, high, or deactivate it. Similarly, we can change the color of the cross-hair icon from yellow to anything else that you prefer.
When we drag-n-drop a file, application, or shortcut on this Quick Go cross-hair window, it open another window for adding the shortcut to the dropped item in the lists. There are many categories for managing these shortcuts such as documents, websites, images, audio, video, programs, folders, and other files.
After you have added various items into the different lists of the Quick Go shortcuts manager, you will be able to access them from its system tray icon. You have to simply right-click on the Quick Go notification area icon and you will see a list with various categories along with all the shortcuts.
Quick Go can be a powerful tool for enhancing efficiency, productivity, and accessibility. By providing quick access to frequently used applications, files, and websites, users can streamline their workflows, reduce distractions, and focus on their tasks.
