Google can find almost anything on the internet and this is why it is number one search engine in the world. But as we all know, we have to type in search terms to search for them in Google. But what if we do not even have to type for searching in Google ? Google Chrome extension Google Related takes Google search further by allowing you to search without even having to type. Using it you can find useful content like videos, news, images and more as you browse the web.

I was watching a movie last night and some of the locations in the background looked like my own city. I was excited but how would I confirm where that movie was filmed ? That’s when one of my friends surprised me with a web site called WWIFDB (where was it filmed database). The WWIFDB web site can give you information about the locations where a movie was shot and which scenes in the movie were filmed at each location.

Mozilla Firefox has once again released a new version of Firefox browser – version 8. This version introduces many new features to make your web browsing faster. For example, Firefox 8 has a new feature to prevent loading of the tabs until selected. This means that if the browser is configured to restore the tabs from the last browsing session, it will not automatically attempt to reload those pages until the tab is selected.

Cartoo is a free web based application which works with Google Maps and can tell you how far you can go in your car in a specified amount of time starting from a particular location.

We have previously posted an article on how you can add new search provider in the Internet Explorer 7 and 8. But things are a little different for Internet Explorer 9. In the Internet Explorer 9 the search box and the address bar have been combined together. So when you have to search in this version, you can type the search phrase in the address bar itself and click on the magnifying lens like icon that appears as shown. By default the search provider for Internet Explorer is Bing.
