Change RSS feed removal frequency in Apple Safari

RSS is acronym for really simple syndicate which is a popular way to syndicate information and provide news feeds. Apple Safari removes the RSS feed articles after 2 weeks by default. This removal frequency can be changed to shorter or longer periods. Here is how :

  1. Run Apple Safari. On the top-right side, you would see a settings gears like icon. Click on it and select Preferences as shown

  2. Alternatively, you can press the keyboard combination Ctrl + , to open the Preferences window.

  3. In the Preferences window, select the RSS tab.
  4. From the drop-down list labeled Remove articles, select the interval. You can select from one day, one week, two weeks, one month, one year and never.

  5. Close the Preferences window.
