Recover Deleted Files Using Pandora Recovery

It is a matter of common knowledge that deleted files in Windows end up in the Recycle Bin. But what of you have emptied the Recycle Bin as well? If you accidentally delete some file and at a later time, after realizing your mistake, want it back, then you can undelete it using a freeware application called Pandora Recovery. Pandora Recovery allows you to find and recover recoverable deleted files from NTFS and FAT-formatted volumes. You can select the volume that you wish to browse for files and select your scanning method – Browse, Search or Deep Scan. In other words, you can look for every deleted or lost file, or filter your search according to the full or partial file name, file size, as well as date of creation and modification. The Deep Scan mode takes a little longer than the other methods for the obvious reason – it scans your hard disk more thoroughly. You can also filter the search to find only certain types of documents like Microsoft Word, MP3 or video files among others.

When the deleted files are shown in the interface, you can also right-click over a file in the list and select Recover to…. You can also double-click on a file to recover it. This would open a Recovery dialog where you have to choose a destination folder and click on the Recover Now button to start recovering it.
