Hover Zoom : Automatically Zoom a Picture in Google Chrome

Often we come across thumbnail picture galleries on websites like facebook or picasa, and we have to click on the thumbnails to open the actual full sized image. It is a painful task to click through each of such small thumbnails in order to have a look at the full image. Like any other Chrome extension, Hover Zoom shows an icon in the omnibar (location bar) on the right side. This icon is not visible if the URL address is very long and reaches the right corner of the omnibar. You can right-click on this icon to open Hover Zoom options. In the options, you can choose various settings like disabling or enabling the Hover Zoom, showing icon in location bar, show picture captions etc. You can also blacklist a number of websites to disable the Hover Zoom on them. You can choose some shortcut keys for Hover Zoom to quickly let you open the image in new window, save the image etc.

By default, the shorcut key for saving an image is ‘S’. To save an image, hover your mouse pointer over a thumbnail, when the full zoomed in picture is shown, press the ‘S’ key on your keyboard and the full picture is saved to your download folder. The same method works for other shortcut keys.
